In Astrolink you can view your birth chart using two different house systems. Just choose the one that best fits your study and interpretation style.

🏠 Available house systems

Placidus
The exact position of the Ascendant marks the cusp of the 1st House. The following cusps are measured in two-hour intervals, resulting in houses of different sizes and allowing for intercepted houses. It is the most popular system in the world, very detailed, and works best at latitudes close to the equator.

Whole Signs
The beginning of the Ascendant sign marks the cusp of the 1st House. The following houses are distributed in equal intervals of 30 degrees. It is the oldest method, easy to calculate and interpret, and works well at any latitude.

📲 How to change the house system in Astrolink

Access your Birth Chart in the app or on the website.

Click on the settings button in the top right corner of the screen.

Select the option “House system”.

Choose between Placidus or Whole Signs.

Confirm by clicking “Change”.

✅ Done! Your chart will automatically be displayed according to the chosen system.

✨ Tip

You can change the system anytime to compare different interpretations of your chart.
